EMS is safe, it has been used for decades under FDA compliance by physicians, osteopaths and chiropractors, but only recently has it started to make headway in fitness. Almost anyone can use EMS training, but if you have a health condition that prevents you from participating in conventional sports, we encourage you to consult with your doctor. Unfortunately people with a heart pacemaker, circulatory disorder, pregnant or have any metal in their body are not eligible for EMS training.
We recommend not to eat at least 2 hours before and one hour after.
EMS training is no more strenuous than a conventional workout. By the end of the class you will need a rest and a drink of water, depending on the intensity of your workout. The equipment uses low impulse frequency, the experience of receiving the impulses may take a little getting used to, but it is not painful in any way.
The minimum age for using EMS is 18, there is no upper age limit, however our majority of members range from 20-65. We offer a flexibility improvement class which is usually the go-to class for our seniors members.
You will feel the muscles working within the first 24 hours, our members usually reports visible results within the first 6-8 classes . Results largely depend on eating and nutrition habits outside the studio and will vary depending on body weight, fat % and other health related issues.
