1. How long is the training?
All Impulse sessions only lasts 30 minutes in total. The session structure is as follows: 5-minute warm up, 5-minute set up, 15-minute workout and 5-minute cooldown.
2. Is training dangerous? Is it for everyone?
EMS is safe, it has been used for decades by physicians, osteopaths and chiropractors, all while being under FDA compliant. Only recently has it started to make headway in fitness. Almost anyone can use EMS training, however if you have a health condition that prevents you from participating in conventional sports, we encourage you to consult with your doctor beforehand. Unfortunately, people with a heart pacemaker, circulatory disorder, going through a pregnancy or have any metal in their body are not eligible for EMS training.
3. Is it ok to eat before?
We recommend that you do not eat at least two hours before and one hour after an Impulse session.
4. Is EMS suitable for Post-Natal Training?
Yes, but only six weeks after delivery. There are numerous studies that clearly indicate that EMS quickly and effectively trains the deep pelvic floor muscles. It is an elegant countermeasure to a tendency towards incontinence. The positive effects naturally apply to all the connective tissue and skin structures that are stretched and overstretched during a pregnancy.
5. Does EMS hurt?
EMS training is no more strenuous than a conventional workout. By the end of the session, you will need a rest and a drink of water, depending on the intensity of your workout. The equipment uses low impulse frequency, the experience of receiving the impulses may take a little getting used to, but it is not painful in any way.
6. Can I stand still and let the equipment do all the work?
While the suit will still be active and you’ll feel it, you should follow the session as instructed. This will ensure that you achieve maximum results and see results quickly. These routines are tailor made for you depending on your (you don’t have to worry about being able to follow all the movements exactly as it’s shown, just do your best to match the instructor on-screen). Our technology enhances every movement, so movements that seem simple are still dramatically improving the efficiency of the exercise routine.
7. What is the age limit?
The minimum age for using EMS is 18, and while there is no upper age limit, most members range from 20-65. Our flexibility sessions are usually the go-to class for our senior members.
8. How long before I see results?
After your first session, you will likely feel very sore, which is a good thing! That means your muscle is regenerating the muscle fibers broken during training. This is a normal and necessary part of muscle growth, EMS or not. Our members usually report seeing visible results within the first 6-8 sessions. However, results largely depend on eating and nutrition habits and will vary depending on body weight, body fat % and other health related issues.
9. What kind of equipment do I need?

10. Is it hygienic?
Impulse training is very hygienic, our suits are machine washable and are manufactured with an anti-bacterial fabric, so smells won’t be an issue.
11. Can I combine Impulse with other exercises?
Absolutely. While not made with that purpose, Impulse can be used as a supplement to traditional workouts, or vice versa, for even faster results! Doing traditional workouts such as cardio on your Impulse off days is a fantastic way to supercharge getting in shape.
12. Where can I train from?
If you have an internet connection, you will be able to download and do your Impulse session. If you download the session ahead of time, you can do the session anywhere, at any time.
13. Are all sessions the same?
No, that’s the benefit of our Impulse algorithm. Every user will get a different experience, your sessions will be created specifically for you according to your individual goals.
14. Can I use it every day?
Full training sessions can be done every other day, as the body needs time to recover after an Impulse session. However, recovery/massage mode can be used daily, including after each workout if desired. This ensures you’ll be able to maximize your Impulse experience.

16. Can I use another person’s account?
Every person’s account will be tailored towards their fitness goals are current metrics. Therefore, we do not recommend using the same account for multiple people. We offer family plans and discounted memberships when buying multiple memberships together.
17. Why can’t I get the battery to connect to the app?
If you are having issues getting your battery to connect to the app, please check the following: 1. Ensure the battery is turned on and close to your device (iPhone/iPad) 2. Press the “Retry” button on the screen to begin the search for the battery again after a failed attempt 3. If you still cannot connect, please log out and back into the app and retry steps 1 and 2. 4. If step 3 still does not work, a last resort is to uninstall and reinstall the app. Your data will not be lost. Repeat steps 1 and 2. 5. 18. Why don’t I feel anything on some body parts during my exercise?
Differential connectivity across various areas of the suit is a common occurrence and can be attributed to variations in body composition and water retention. It is also important to understand that sweat greatly contributes to improved connectivity. As the body undergoes conditioning, the connectivity of the entire suit is expected to progressively improve. Moreover, certain areas of your body may warm up and perspire at different rates, which could affect the connectivity. By making sure you get your body moving to the best of your ability during the warmup period, you can anticipate a more consistent and better connectivity of the suit over time. Another potential cause of the suit not connecting on certain muscles could be improper placement of the battery on the connection plate. Finally, there is a chance that the suit is not functioning as it should, if you require further assistance or seek additional guidance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer support team.
19. What should I do if the internet connection drops during a session?
If the internet goes out once you have started your session, the class will proceed just the same. You only need an internet connection to download the session, start the session and log the post-workout after your session. If the battery disconnects during the session, you will not lose the progress of the session. Simply pause it and reconnect the battery.
20. Can I use Impulse On The Go offline?
It depends, an internet connection is required to start the session. Downloading a session should only take about 2-3 minutes. Once the session has been downloaded onto the device, it can be started at any time, regardless of internet connection.
